VIDEO AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS

Please read these instructions carefully to ensure your audition is complete. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

We are asking for all audition videos to be submitted through private links to online video websites. There are several options available, including YouTube, Shutterfly, and Vimeo. Please note: We cannot accept videos that require downloading.

How to Audition by EMAIL:
1. Click Add to Cart, complete form, and submit payment.
2. EMAIL an active link to your online video (requirements noted below) to CDEsummer@atlantaballet.com
3. Attach 2 photographs to the email: tendu a la seconde & first arabesque
4. Include dance resume, if applicable
5. Include Full name, age, and “VIDEO” in the subject line (ex: Sally Smith 15 – Video)

*Please note that auditions will not be reviewed until payment is received and processed.
**Audition results will be emailed within 3-5 business days.
Video Requirements:  Create a cohesive video (no longer than 5 minutes) consisting of barre work (one side) and center work (one side). Ladies need to include pointe work in center, if appropriate. Solo performance/competition videos will be accepted in lieu of the above for dancers 16 and up only.

 

By purchasing this audition you agree to the following: I am aware that dance training and the stretching exercises associated with it place unusual stress on the body and carry with them the minor risk of injury. On behalf of myself and my child, I assume the risk and agree that Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education shall not be liable in any way for injuries sustained during attendance at the Centre or any of its related functions including virtual instruction.
